************************************ What's New in HP LaserROM/UX B.02.01 ************************************ User Tips Help Page Displays at Startup ======================================= * Now a new Help page, titled "Tips on Using HP LaserROM/UX," appears automatically at startup. This page has summaries of popular HP LaserROM/UX features, and hyperlinks to descriptions of how to use them. * Included on this Help page is a link which allows you to suppress the automatic display of this Help page and another link which re-enables it (see heading "Accessing this Help Page Later", near the bottom of the Help page). These links create/remove (respectively) the file "$HOME/.lrom/.donotshowhelp" for the user. ******************************** Known Defects in Version B.02.01 ******************************** * While creating a new custom bookshelf, HP LaserROM/UX may terminate abnormally if excessive drag and drop motions are performed to remove books and bookshelves prior to creating the new one. However, the new bookshelf is created successfully and is accessible the next time HP LaserROM/UX is started. * Some scaled-up graphics are not positioned correctly when printed in landscape mode to an HP Asian PCL printer.(Japanese version only.) Workarounds are: 1) Select the 300dpi option in the print window. 2) Select the 300dpi and A4 paper size options in the print window, and use A4 papers. 3) Print in portrait mode. ************************************** What was New in HP LaserROM/UX B.02.00 ************************************** LRom file ========= * This is now located in /usr/lrom/lib/X11/app-defaults/C directory on HP-UX 9.x systems and in /opt/lrom/lib/X11/app-defaults/C on HP-UX 10.0 systems. * Resources for the help viewer as well as the following new resources have been added: LRom*discAreaHeight Specifies height of disc area in library window.
