Bernard,

> In the February 24, 1997 issue of Infoworld on page 25 it says:
>
> "Effective immediately Hewlett-Packard will offer Netscape's
> Fast-Track Web server and Navigator Gold client with HP-UX...free of
> charge."

I found the press release on HP's home page:

http://www.hp.com/csopress/97feb12b.html

In this release, it states

"In a move to make it easier for customers to adopt Web technology,
Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE: HWP) and Netscape Communications
Corporation (NASDAQ: NSCP) today announced they will work together to
include the HP 9000 Enterprise Server and HP 9000 workstations with
Netscape(R) FastTrack Server software and Netscape Navigator Gold client
software for the HP-UX(1) operating environment. This announcement means
that every HP 9000 customer can be equipped with powerful Web server,
authoring and browsing capabilities. "

I installed the software on my 10.2 system using /usr/sbin/swinstall
and setting the software depot to /tmp/FastTrack.tar. The software
is installed in /opt/ns-navgold and /opt/ns-fasttrack/. The netscape
executable is located in /opt/ns-navgold/bin/netscape.
